Rockpalast Crossroads Festival- March 26 th , 2009. The show was broacasted on german television WDR as follows:
My good friend Todd Thibaud and his band and my own band were to meet and share an evening at one of world's finest and most long-lived concert festivals in the world. The festival took place in Bonn at the Harmonie, one of my all time favorite German venues. The concert itself is filmed live in front of an audience for later broadcast. I put together a band with newly met French pros Amaury Blanchard (drums) and Bernard Viguié (bass).
3 rehearsals later we were on stage in front of a full house and 8 cameras and I think we played some pretty damned good music on this night. A totally professional crew from WDR television and the Harmonie itself turned what could have been a dance of fools into a rocking and swinging evening of fun.
Todd even joined me onstage for a shared Hardpan song and most everyone seemed to really enjoy the evening. A very big and heartfelt thanks to my band for their efforts, Todd Thibaud and his band, Christian our booking agent, Peter and the Harmonie crew, the wonderful television and sound crew and of course to all of our many friends who made the show. Truly a night and experience for me to remember for a long, long time!
